Created as part of my Master of Arts in Visual Communication at Solent University, this series of nine abstract collage A1 prints explores the complex themes of emotional ambivalence. Drawing from personal journal entries, each piece transforms raw emotions and memories into vibrant compositions, using a mix of layered ephemera and screen-printed elements to enhance the depth and originality of the work.

The process is as integral as the finished pieces, as each collage evolves through an instinctive engagement with colour harmonies and found materials. These works are not metaphors but abstract expressions of emotions, capturing the contradictions and complexities that words often fail to convey.
